Omerta 6/12 screen graphics

If you have not seen the film, skip this as it might contain some spoilers! Stringular was asked to participate in creating visuals for this film in 2020 autumn. The film was going to be heavily embedded with tactical screens and all sorts of HUDs. The creation of this movie would have been an interesting film itself. As the director changed mid-project there were a lot of different concepts created. Some of them had to be let go as style changed and some evolved further towards realism. Drone HUDs, Tactical screens, screensavers, holograms, you name it and it was created. We had a three-person team creating the screens so there are plenty more screens than on this page. Many of them required on-set playback also. Here are just a few samples of the screens Stringular worked on. This page will be updated later with shots from the film.

Many of the scenes required several screens. Some of them were tactical views for drones and computers, laptops and mission rooms. Many of the screens created were really realistic. For example, Stringular created Falcon jet gauges and screens that were animated in a realistic manner, simulating landings and take-offs and navigation. In the end, they got little screen time but they supported the story perfectly. A lot of research on aviation had to be done to make them act in a realistic way. Some of these screens were also interactive so that the actors were able to press the buttons.
