UMK 23 - Robin VFX

Stringular used rotoscoping to remove any wires or structures that were visible in the shots. This process involved outlining the unwanted elements and then using that information to remove them from the footage. Compositing techniques to paint out any remaining elements that were not in line with the desired aesthetic. This was done by layering different elements of the footage and adjusting their transparency to blend them together seamlessly. In fact, the majority of the VFX shots were built as 3d scenes so it helped to build new geometry to cover the unwanted areas.

Overall, the process of creating the VFX of this video was a complex and time-consuming endeavor, but the end result was a visually stunning piece that effectively conveyed the intended message. And, UMK crew is always professional and fun to work with. There is also a little making-of video below to see the process a bit more in detail!
